I created a strong logo, identity and business cards for Contemporary Hempery, a dynamic collaboration between artists Kitty Wilson Brown and Claire O’Sullivan, with a mission centred around sustainable hemp cultivation. Located at Waklyns Farm in Suffolk, they hold a unique license to grow hemp, aiming to oversee the entire process from seed to fabric. Their vision? To reintroduce hemp as a viable and eco-friendly crop, focusing on creating exquisite woven garments. From cultivation and processing to spinning, dyeing, and weaving, they craft lightweight hemp fabrics for clothing while advocating for hemp's textile potential in the UK. Such is the momentum of their endeavor that it's being documented into a compelling film, spotlighting hemp's benefits and advocating for its pivotal role in our future.
